Introducing Kris Elliott, our October Employee Spotlights recipient and Loman-Ray's committed in-house nurse! Kris, our dedicated Nurse Navigator, simplifies the complexities of health insurance, offering expert guidance and advocacy to our customers. Her unwavering positivity and commitment to assisting others make her truly deserving of this recognition.

Before joining the Loman-Ray team, Kris spent an impressive 30 years as a hospital nurse, 15 of which in the emergency department, where every day was a whirlwind of the unusual and the interesting. It's no surprise that her passion for helping people transcended the walls of the hospital.

So, what led Kris to trade in her stethoscope for insurance policies? After three decades of standing on her feet for long hours, working weekends, and holidays, Kris yearned for a change that would allow her to continue assisting clients in a new and exciting way. The Nurse Navigator position at Loman-Ray offered the perfect opportunity to combine her healthcare expertise with a fresh approach to helping clients.

Kris's dedication to healthcare is evident in her choice of focus at Loman-Ray. With a background in nursing, she is committed to guiding our clients through the complex world of health insurance. Whether it's answering questions or giving claims advice, Kris is there to make sure clients feel supported and understood.

Kris's Nurse Navigator role is an uncommon position for an independent insurance agency. In her own words, "I don't know of any other local insurance agency that has a nurse navigator. It shows the dedication we have to client service."

If Kris could have any superhero power, she'd choose teleportation. Why? "I would love to get to faraway places like Paris or Hawaii for the weekend instantly without buying expensive plane tickets!" A power born of a desire to make life's luxuries more accessible. A relatable superpower for sure!
