This month, the spotlight shines on Jessica Ward, a Customer Service Representative (CSR) based at our Clifton branch location.
A Career Journey of Learning and Growth
Before joining Loman-Ray, Jessica's diverse career path included roles as a librarian's assistant, a cashier and kitchen design consultant at Menards, and a bank teller for nearly seven years. This experience, as Jessica says, "allowed me to do different things and learn new things with each job."
Drawn to the challenge of a new industry, Jessica joined Loman-Ray with the desire to "push myself and get into something new." She thrives on the ever-changing nature of the insurance industry, stating, "I enjoy the fact that I am forever learning in this job, and you never know what will be thrown at you from day to day. Insurance truly keeps you on your toes."
A Sense of Accomplishment
Jessica finds deep satisfaction in helping clients. "Anytime we can work with an insured and get them better coverage and save them money at the same time," she says, "it's a good feeling knowing you are able to surprise someone every once in a while." She finds fulfillment in giving clients positive outcomes in the ever-evolving landscape of insurance.
Life Outside of Work
When away from the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their two dogs. She's also a lifelong WWE fan and maintains a clean and organized lifestyle, a trait she acknowledges with a smile can be "a blessing or a curse!"
Favorite Destinations
When it comes to vacation destinations, she fondly remembers her time exploring Hannibal, Missouri, where she immersed herself in the caves and rich history of Mark Twain. She's looking forward to her first trip to Florida in the coming months, though Hawaii remains a dream destination on her bucket list.
