From walking beans and mowing lawns at the age of eight to running a "business" with a friend selling baked treats at local events, Kelly's early years were filled with entrepreneurial spirit and hard work. This foundation led her to a career in the insurance industry, influenced by her father's legacy in insurance and real estate.

At Loman-Ray, Kelly thrives in her role as a bookkeeper, enjoying the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the business running smoothly. "I like to be behind the scenes doing my thing, but also knowing and understanding it is an important part of the business," she shares. Her proudest moments include the significant progress made in accounting processes and a heartfelt full-circle moment when she was invited to the annual Pekin trip, a tradition her father used to participate in.

Outside of work, Kelly is deeply involved in her community, dedicating nearly 20 years to the annual Crisis Nursery auction and over a decade to the One-Stop Christmas in Mattoon. Her love for giving back extends to her small church, where she finds joy in contributing to the community she grew up in.

Kelly's favorite childhood TV shows like Gilligan's Island, Green Acres, and Happy Days remind her of the cherished family time and good memories they brought. Her dream vacation is a land and sea cruise of Alaska, a goal she hopes to achieve from her bucket list.
